Comments of those people who visited the caves
Many people have an image of a long journey, deep in the forests, when the word “cave” is used. But right in the center of Liuville, not in business of course, there is a cave to visit tourists. This is not a natural cave, it is a former mine. During the Cold War, it was a bomb shelter. Recently, it was made a whole attraction. Here you can climb, ride, ride on ropes. We did not stay here long. I advise to visit with children, they will have fun.
It was a great tour and a great cave, it’s a cave that flows a lot, so obviously there are no many big images like the other caves, but it’s a great experience to go to a cave with a flashlight!
There were many times in recent years. This time we took a shorter tour (Dripstone), and once again we were afraid of the subway beauty. This tour is very convenient for people who are not in the best shape (without steps).
This was my tour of the cave on the 3rd in Missouri and definitely my favorite! We took our family to the wonderful Caverns and Meramec Caves on other trips, but this tour was very informative and the most natural. No spectacular color light here, just nature. Our guide, Emerald, does a great job well. We learned a lot and kept a leisurely step, so no one felt immediately sent. We were able to take many pictures during the 90-minute tour. There is one part that is extra if you are not able to climb a steep ascent to the last area with benches, and also if you want to skip this part because of movement problems. There are fences everywhere, but it was not slippery. You just have to keep driving around the city carefully and not the way. We were so happy that we made a 3-hour drive to travel back and forth to the Onondaga Caves!
Cool on a hot day, Cave of Wonder is included in your Silver Dollar City reception. Guides are interesting, fun and literate. The excursion takes about an hour and includes a large climb.
I passed twice the entrance to Titus Canyon from Nevada, but I came from Death Valley. It turned out to be a mistake. We saw the Canyon, but could not drive, because the road is one-way and it is from Nevada. When we walked, we met Jeep Compass, i.e. the road is accessible, as long as there is more clearance.
